Bio
Bren Kekoa Bartol (they/he) is an indigenous theatrical designer, performer, and playwright pursuing a BA in Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS) at Stanford University. They are currently one of the Executive Producers for the Stanford Shakespeare Company, and have assisted projections designer Caite Hevner and scenic designer Nina Ball.
Their work has been seen at the Nitery Experimental Theater (NExT), the Stanford Shakespeare Company, TAPS Developmental Stage, TAPS Mainstage, Inglemoor Valhalla Players and the Stanford Asian American Theater Project.
Recent productions include Unit Operations Here are Highly Specific (TAPS Developmental Stage), Three States of Matter (NExT, TAPS), Henry IV (Stanford Shakespeare Company), The Shakespearean Crossdressers Support Group (NExT), Hamlet: Prince of Denmark (NExT), and more.
